Weakening trade winds will lead to local afternoon sea breeze and nighttime land breeze over leeward areas. Low clouds and showers will favor the interior and leeward sections each afternoon and evening, with some clouds and showers over windward and mauka sections mainly at night and during the morning. Increasing showers may occur around mid-week over the Big Island as tropical moisture moves up over the eastern end of the state.
